10 Useful iPad Gadgets That Cost Less Than $50

But then again, there just seems to be so many things that one has to get, so that this gadget will be secured and could be used with ease. The price though, should not be so much of a problem for they cost less than $50.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/tohru/8155427576

What are these important gadgets?

1. Incipio Kickstand

This is one of the most attractive iPad stands in the market today. It is also very practical because it converts into a stand in folio style when opened. It has a black leather outer cover, with a soft suede inner lining. The design is made specifically to make typing or video watching on your iPad easier to do. The best part of this accessory is that it costs no more than $30.

2. iPad waterproof cover

Protecting your iPad is compulsory, and this can be done easily because of so many waterproof covers in the market today. This is perhaps one of the most useful things that you could get for your gadget. As it is very sensitive to any liquid, it is very important that you keep it protected from accidents or from sudden weather changes. Typical covers only cost around $30.

3. iPad keyboard

This is your best alternative to typing on your screen. There is still nothing that could beat the convenience of typing on a keyboard, but for your iPad, there are a few options of using a real keyboard using a Bluetooth or power point connection.

4. Skin case

This is a great substitute for an iPad cover. If you believe that any zip lock-looking cover is not at all stylish, then using a skin could be a very great alternative as it comes in different colors. The price ranges from $10 and up.

5. Carrying case

This is very important for carrying your gadget because it protects your iPad from weather conditions, shock and other mechanical trauma. You will also be able to carry it without hassle.

6. iPad Charger

Get this for your car and for other mobile devices. If you are the adventurous type with a lot of schedule for travel, it is about time that you get a travel charger that is handy and affordable.

7. An iPad Camera Connection Kit

This is great for those who love to upload photos in their favorite photo sharing sites. The camera kit has everything that you need to transfer the photos from your camera"s memory card.

8. Protective screen film

This is a must-have to make sure that your screen is perfectly protected against scratches. It is also very sensitive to temperature changes so the screen film actually regulates the temperature within the screen.

9. Speakers or ear phones

These accessories are also very helpful. Hearing music from an iPad is an instant lifesaver if you get bored. With a decent set of speakers or ear phones, listening to great music is not so hard to do.

10. Car charger adapter

This is an iPad"s life saver. When you are busy on the road, you simply get the car adapter and you can store enough life for your iPad to work once you reach your destination.

Guide to Transferring Saved Games from iPhone to iPad

The Basics

Many people assume that learning how to transfer game saves from an iPhone to an iPad will be a complicated process. This is only half true, the actual process has been made easy by some very handy apps, however, it does still require a jailbroken iPhone and iPad.

At this time there is no way to do this without a jailbroken iPhone and iPad. Transferring game saves between iPhones is easy enough, likewise between iPads because the iTunes backup from one can be used to restore on the other, however, Apple has released no other way to swap game shares between iDevices if they are not the same device. This might not seem like such a big deal but with the growing number of iDevices (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and now Apple TV), it is slowly becoming one.

On a jailbroken iPhone and iPad, all you need to do is download two free programs and with a few taps you will be on your way to swapping saved games. The best part is the applications are free and you won"t need a PC to do it, thank Bluetooth.

Download Necessary Resources

In order for this to work, you will need to download two applications from Cydia. These applications are both free and can be found in the default repos, therefore a simple search for them will have you on the way to downloading. Perform the following steps on your iPad and your iPhone too. (Find Out How To Use Cydia Here).

  1. Launch Cydia. Launch Cydia by tapping the brown Cydia icon found on your iPhone"s homescreen. Cydia may take a second to launch.

  2. Goto Search. Tap the search tab in the bottom right corner of Cydia. This should take you to the search screen.

  3. Download AppBackup. Search for AppBackup and then tap on it to open the info pane. Click Install in the upper right corner and then press confirm in the upper left corner.

  4. Download iFile. Repeat the same process used in steps two and three. This time search for iFile instead of AppBackup.

  5. Prepare the iPhone. Repeat this same process on the iPhone, installing both applications.

Swapping Data

Once you have all of the resources installed, we can begin swapping data on the iPhone. Follow these instructions on your iPhone.

  1. Launch AppBackup. Launch AppBackup by tapping the new AppBackup icon on the home screen of your iPhone.

IPad Advice The Experts Recommend Most

The iPad is adored and respected by most people. The size is perfect to bring anywhere. It functions as an e-reader, gaming device and a scheduler, all in one. The options available are greater than any one person can imagine. In this article, you will learn how to make the most of your iPad.

You can easily access all running apps on an iPad. Simply double-click the Home button. A bar near the bottom of the screen will indicate which apps are in use. This is a great way to switch between apps. Swipe downwards to hide the bar again.

TIP! Be aware that your battery may be short-lived if you make use of your iPad for listening to music, playing games or streaming movies. Adjusting screen brightness can help to lengthen your battery life.

If you do not have a lot of time, you should never charge your iPad with your iPhone charger. The iPad charger is a 10 watt charger. The iPhone charger is a 5 watt charger. If you charge with your iPhone charger, it will take a lot longer to get a full iPad battery. Use the original charger instead.

Your iPad"s default setting lets you see two lines of a new email prior to you selecting it. It can help to see more content before opening it. Go to the Settings and then tap on Mail. Then click on Contacts, then click Calendar and then finally select Preview Mail Options so that you can see more at one time.

Want a manual for your iPad? You"ll have to download it. Instead of including a manual with their products, Apple prefers that you download one.

TIP! Folders are available in today"s iOS. To utilize this feature, tap the app you want to until it begins to shake, then drag it where you want to drop it.

It is a pain when you get an email and your iPad chimes every time. You can shut off that feature. First you need to go to Settings>General. Tap on the Sounds option. Find the New Mail sound and adjust it to your preference.

It is important to know how to provide proper care for your iPad. First of all, keep your iPad out of direct sunlight and don"t leave it locked inside your hot car. The heat will kill your battery. Also, keep your iPad away from liquids. You should buy a cover that is padded to provide further protection for the device.

Screenshots are simple to take. Press the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously. You will then find the photo in your normal photo album.

TIP! Watch how much money you spend on apps. It"s very common for iPad users to run up large bills buying music and apps.

Because iPads are not cheap, it makes sense to care for yours well. Lots of people buy iPad screen protectors. These are thin plastic and give heightened protection to the screen area of the iPad. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean your iPad"s screen. Avoid using window cleaners or household cleaners for cleaning the screen of your iPad.

There is finally a way to silence your iPad very quickly. When iPads were first out, there weren"t any buttons on it specifically for mute. All newer iPads now allow you to mute your iPad"s sound. Holding down the volume button helps to mute your phone fast.

Set up FaceTime with your phone numbers and emails. The default option is to use FaceTime with your primary email, but this can be changed. If you need FaceTime to recognize additional numbers or addresses, it is possible to use the "settings" area to accomplish that.

It is easy to access running applications quickly. Press home twice and the bar will appear. This can keep you going when you"re in a hurry.

Do you hate it when you are surfing on your iPad and you cannot tell where a hyperlinked word will lead you? This is easily remedied. Since you can"t hover over words like on a regular computer, you may touch and hold that word. Doing so shows you the URL.

A lot of people know that their iPads have iTunes, but they do not know all that they can do with it. An interesting one is iTunes U (which is used for universities). This section has educational podcasts about all types of professoinal subjects and can be a great way to increase your know-how.

TIP! Try a soft reset if your iPad is frozen. Hold both the home and power buttons to get your device to reload.

The possibilities are endless when it comes to thing you are able to do on an iPad. It"s something the entire family will use. You should definitely take care of your iPad as well. It is amazing how much your life can benefit from it.

CaseCruzer Multiple iPad Mobile Charging Station Enforces Theft Prevention for Tablet Fleets

Montclair, CA (PRWEB) May 08, 2012

http://www.slideshare.net/aasiaaasia/reasons-why-you-shouldnt-use-i-phone-chargers-to-charge-ipad

Fleets of iPads now being deployed for on-site IT and MIS services are at risk without reliable theft protection and multiple charging options. Always at the service of technology innovators and users, CaseCruzer has solved both needs with its new, easy-to-use 10 pack iPad charging station.

The CaseCruzer Multiple iPad Charging Station is ideal for information technology and management information systems professionals. Yet the rugged reusable transport solution also offers benefits for all business, industrial, military, healthcare, creative and emergency-response teams that must travel and store technology.

“As Apple continues to wow the world with amazing trend-setting products, we’re busy serving the corporate and enterprise IT managers who must convert their fleets from laptops to iPads. The brave, new direction for computing requires secure, military-tough transport solutions. And that’s our specialty,” says Tatiana Briceno, CaseCruzer marketing director.

The Multiple iPad Charging Station has a tough ultra strength copolymer polypropylene exterior designed to withstand harsh weather and the rigors of the road. The station also has two layers of theft prevention. First, stainless steel flanges allow the unit to be padlocked when being transported by airplane, train or truck. (Designed to be safely shipped via FedEx, UPS and other delivery services.) Second, an interior lid encloses and locks down the iPads while they are charging.

The tablet transport is also easy to use. ITs may simultaneously charge and protect all versions of the iPad — including the new iPad. Simply plug the Apple charger/cable into the power surge protector (110V AC) included with the CaseCruzer unit. Wireless sync function can be done via iOS 5.

Each iPad is held in a padded vertical position which protects them from impact and vibration damage. Durable, injection molded outer shell provides additional protection against blunt force and clumsy baggage handlers.

Also, every iPad model will fit in the 10 bays with or without a protective cover. But for corporations that intend to use individual covers, it is recommended that specific dimensions be provided when ordering so that tablets will fit “like a glove” in the multiple charging station.

No longer on the road? The CaseCruzer mobile multiple charging station is the safest way to store iPad fleets until the next assignment.

The dimensions of the Multiple iPad Charging Station are a trim 25.63" L x 19.5" W x 15.63" H. When empty, the station weighs only 37.5 lbs. An ambient pressure equalization valve, high-quality latches, and o-ring seal make the station watertight, airtight and dustproof. It also boasts an IP76 certification.

Although the new CaseCruzer mobile charging station is a must-have for IT departments that understand the importance of theft prevention, it is ideal for traveling professionals — including photographers, videographers, graphic designers, advertisers, and publicists — who use the iPad for business functions, showcasing PowerPoint presentations, product imagery, catalogs, manuals and documents.

The benefits also apply to attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, realtors and city, state and county agencies. And the 10 pack iPad charging station specifications and military pedigree recommend it for trade show exhibits, high-tech restaurants, classrooms, business retail POS and many other commercial or law enforcement applications.

For more info about the iPad Charging Station, visit http://www.casecruzer.com; call 800-440-9925 in the U.S. or 909-613-1999 internationally; fax 909-465-5598; or write to CaseCruzer at 4665 State Street, Montclair, CA 91763

Educating Yourself On Your IPad: Information For New Users And Professionals Alike

There"s a reason that more and more iPads have been sold over the last couple of years. They give people a lot of features, can be enjoyable to use, and are great at making life more easy. To make sure your iPad is being used as it should be, you have to learn all you can about the device. In this article, you will find iPad related tips.

You can get to all the running apps on your tablet. Press the Home button twice and a bar with the running apps will appear. To switch between apps, just tap the one you want to access. Hit the Home button to get rid of the bar.

TIP! If you want to review a photo or video you just shot, you do not have to select the camera icon on the bottom left of the screen. Simply swipe your finger to the right to see the most recent video or photo.

Those iPad apps can be addictive, so keep a tally of how many you purchase. It is so simple to use your iTunes application that you can rack up a huge bill without realizing it. So, it"s important to keep your eye on what you"re spending.

Your iPad"s default setting lets you see two lines of a new email prior to you selecting it. You may wish to view more of each message before you open it. Choose "Mail" in Settings. From Mail, choose Contacts, then go to Calendar where you can change the options to preview mail.

Would you like the ability to locate your iPad should it go missing? Just go to your iPad"s Settings and then click on iCloud. There, place in your ID. Look then to the bottom area of the page to turn on "Find My iPad." Now if you lose your iPad, all you need to do to find it is go to iCloud.com.

TIP! If you want to charge your iPad quickly, avoid using an iPhone charger. This is because it has a different wattage than an iPad charger.

You can use the copy and paste feature on your iPad. Tap the text you intend to copy and hold your finger down, then choose "select" from the popup menu that appears. Tap once again, and you"ll see that the text is highlighted. Choose copy after this. Then, tap and hold for a few seconds and choose Paste.

Sync your pages with iTunes and share your documents with a PC or Mac. Sharing documents isn"t a pain anymore and being able to interact with nearly any home computer using iTunes is incredibly helpful. You can even share PDF documents on the iPad.

Find a forum online to discuss any iPad issues you may be having. Your question is bound to have been asked before on any number of forums. You can ask questions or just peruse the archives for useful information. Chances are, your questions have already been answered.

TIP! Typing on iPads is something that requires getting used to. A simple way to enter text is to use the speech dictation function.

There are many preloaded apps that you will probably never use. That said, they can"t be removed, either. You can put them in a folder and location where they won"t be in your way. That way, you can concentrate on the things you find most useful.

Light requirements change in different settings, and that"s why you can change the lighting wherever you are. You can dim the screen easily, just double tap the Home button, then swipe until you find the brightness setting. This will allow you to manually adjust the brightness to fit your surroundings.

You can"t do day-to-day swiping in the calendar app. You can select the appropriate date using the navigation bar. The present date is rendered in blue, and easily noticeable.

TIP! With the default setting you can see the first two lines of any emails before you open them. You may wish to view more of each message before you open it.

To switch between apps as quickly as possible, click on Home two times. This will show all apps that are currently running. Then click the application you want to use. To switch back to the previous app, just do the same thing again.

Street View

Street View is available on the iPad"s Google Maps app. Do a search so a red pin appears on your map. If you press on the pin, and choose the person icon, the Street View will load.

TIP! You can add Google Calendar to your calendar app by going to Mail/Contacts/Calendars. Go to Add An Account and tap Other.

Don"t limit yourself to the iPad"s touch-sensitive keyboard. Typing on a tiny keyboard that is projected on a screen can be quite challenging. A better option is to buy a Bluetooth-enabled keyboard, which can be used with your iPad easily. They will make typing much easier.

To copy text on your iPad, simply double tap a keyword. It will be difficult to copy entire paragraphs this way, though. Tap the text four times, you will copy the whole paragraph. This works for paragraphs, addresses as well as the URL bar.

The features of the iPad have played a major role in it"s success. Use the contents of this article to get the best experience from your iPad. Enjoy getting to know your fantastic device and good luck!

iPad? More Like HRpad

After a four-week delay, I finally received my 32GB 3G iPad2 this past Monday! As I am an HR tech nerd, the first thing I asked myself was, "how can I make this applicable for my everyday HR duties?" Unfortunately, there are not too many HR specific apps right now; and let"s face it, HR probably isn"t the most profitable niche for app developers. However, there are a few - but plenty of general tools that make this worthwhile for any HR professional.

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x10chlr_dungeon-hunter-4-ipad-hack-999999-resources-no-jailbreak_videogames

Manage Social Media Accounts

Since all of you took the advice from my last blog post and began creating your own interactive talent communities using social media, these apps / features make managing that a bit easier:

Tweetdeck - Great for managing multiple twitter accounts, keeping active searches for trends, industry hash tags, sourcing keywords, etc. Free - must have.

Facebook / Linkedin - I was initially bothered by the fact that I couldn"t find any iPad specific apps for these, but once I gave it a shot by simply logging in via Safari, I was pleasantly surprised. It really did not take away much from the experience at all. Later that afternoon I walked over to a hiring manager and literally handed him several candidate profiles using the LinkedIn Recruiter tool.

Youtube - Manage your account, watch videos, record videos with either the front-facing or rear-facing cameras, and upload content. Granted, you make look goofy doing so with an iPad, but in theory you could swing by a team area and make an impromptu video displaying the company culture to give that transparent & authentic inside look into the organization.

General Business Application

Quickoffice Mobile Suite - With the limitations of some of the main Apple business suite apps (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), this is by far a superior solution in my opinion. You can open and save files in a variety of formats (including saving files in excel format - unlike Numbers), as well as connect directly to your online storage accounts, including: Dropbox, Google Docs, Mobile Me and others. Plenty of functionality within the applications themselves, I couldn"t ask for anything more really. At $16.99, I feel it is worth the money if you plan on using a tool like this.

Reading Materials / Resources

There are plenty of eBook readers and digital bookstores available on the iPad: iBooks, Google Books, and Kindle, to name a few. You can definitely build an HR resource library that you can access anytime and from nearly anywhere.

Without getting into too many specifics, there are a plethora of free reference applications available on most any topic. I personally downloaded at least three different law dictionaries / guides for quick references if a certain term comes up that I may not be familiar with (of course not a substitute for actual legal advice).

Digital Magazines

Aside from eBooks, digital magazines seem to be immensely popular on the iPad. They are also available for many subjects, including HR. You can find apps with digital copies for HR magazines including:

HR Magazine

HR Executive

People Management

One big perk is that you don"t necessarily need to be a paid subscriber in order to see some of the magazines" past or even current issues.

HR Specific Applications

Yes, I was able to find a few, sadly nothing I consider to be super groundbreaking in comparison to the rest of the functionality of the iPad, but they are worth mentioning all the same.

Employee Tracker - Offers both a free and premium version. This app allows you to keep track of any incidents involving specific employee behaviors, and accounting for what the employer response was. In the premium version there are a few additional sorting options, a larger number of employees it can store in its database, and it can export information in CSV format. Another similar paid app is Direct Report: Employee Feedback Tracker.

My MBA: Human Resources; HR at Your Fingertips; Dictionary of HR Management Terms; Human Resources Terminology - These are all paid apps, but appear to be basic primers/glossaries for a variety of fundamental HR issues. The most comprehensive of these resources appears to be My MBA, which costs $12.99.

TWGlobal50 - This is probably one of the better HR specific apps available. Towers Watson offers a free app featuring an interactive map with Human Capital data for 57 countries. Some of the data includes: budgeted pay increases for 2011, employee engagement levels, talent mobility, and benefit costs.

SHRM 2011 - If you are attending the Annual SHRM conference in Las Vegas in June, this free app is a must have. It has a detailed breakdown of each session, a directory of speakers, an option for you to plot your agenda within the app based on the sessions you wish to attend, as well as providing information about the vendors in attendance and where they are located.

Access to Web Based Services

In addition to all of these great tools, you can still access your organization"s web based HR services using Safari. I have been able to work in our ATS (Taleo Recruit) just fine and with full functionality, access our self-service HR portal through Paychex, as well as access the payroll back-end to potentially process if needed. In that particular instance, I needed to download the free Citrix Receiver app, and then I was able to access that portion of Paychex just fine.

If you consider yourself a "g-recruiter," you can view your iGoogle page without any difficulties. Google has a disclaimer at the top of the page stating that some functionalities may not be available on a tablet, but I personally have not run into any as of yet.

Note Taking / Digital Form Completion

I saved the most exciting app for last. When I ordered the iPad, one of my goals was to be able to essentially eliminate the need for my paper legal pad, and do what I can to go as paperless as possible. For $4.99, Note Taker HD can make that happen.

While about 99% of folks are fine with using the finger as the main way to navigate the iOS and interact in the apps, I decided to obtain a stylus. After a good amount of research, I went with the BoxWave, for $15. It is a little smaller than a normal pen, lightweight but not fragile, and has a soft rubber-like tip - so it won"t scratch up your screen.

Once you start up the app, you can create a blank page or annotate a PDF. If you create a blank page, you will see a normal lined notebook page which you can write on with your stylus. You actually have the option in the settings to choose different types of lines. To maximize the amount of space to write on, you can use the convenient zoom window. It takes a small amount of time to get used to, but it"s certainly rewarding. As for the accuracy of the writing with a stylus, remarkable. It is 99% dead on, as if I was writing on paper with a pen. Very little delay in seeing the text, if any when writing. I have brought my iPad in for a few meetings this past week to test this functionality on the ground - no complaints. When you are done taking notes, go ahead and save your file as a PDF, and email it to yourself or another destination. I for one can email it to my Evernote account, and from my desktop - transfer it to wherever it needs to go.

For the annotating a PDF option, you basically import PDF files/forms, and write over them. For example, you have a job application for all candidates to complete. How progressive would your company appear to be if you handed them a tablet, and asked them to fill it out digitally? There are plenty of potential uses with this feature. Saving the annotated PDFs works the same as above, exports as a PDF and email it to your destination of choice.

Final Thoughts

Needless to say, I have really enjoyed working with my iPad over the past week, and I am still finding new features and apps to enhance the experience. While this isn"t a "must have" item, it certainly is a useful one. I am anxious to see how this new advent of tablet computing begins to integrate into everyday work life on a larger scale.

Hasn"t everything already been said about iPads? Many people believe it is only a toy, yet others believe it is a necessary daily device. If you think it is both, this article has great tips for you.

The latest operating system, iOS, allows you to use folders on your iPad. To create a folder, move an app and put it on top one. Your iPad will then create a folder with both apps. The folder will show the name representing the category associated with those apps. You can then rename this folder if you like.

TIP! There is a way that you can check all the running applications that you have at a given time. Double-clicking on the Home key shows all open apps at once.

If you fear someone might try to look at your device and read your data, it is possible to set a password so that all data will be deleted after a set number of incorrect attempts. Doing this will erase all data on the iPad whenever a person attempts to input the passcode ten times.

If you are in the habit of reading the instruction manual for everything that you buy, you need to know that the iPad"s manual is only available via download. Apple doesn"t include manuals with their products in order to maintain a minimalistic image.

Search Engine

TIP! Don"t use your iPhone charger for your iPad if you are short on time. This is because iPads have higher wattage requirements than iPhones.

Do you like Google as your search page? If not, you can change it pretty easily. Simply navigate to Settings, Safari, and then Search Engine. Then you can change your default search engine to one of the options provided.

Taking a screenshot on an iPad is very simple. Just hold the home and sleep button simultaneously. Click! The photo will be taken and visible in your Photos app.

Take the time to set up your contacts in FaceTime. FaceTime, by default, will use the email address that was used when registering your iPad. If there are more emails or even phone numbers where you want FaceTime to recognize, you can set them up in the settings area of the iPad.

TIP! If you have concerns about people accessing the private info on your iPad you can select settings that will delete all of your data after several failed password attempts. If someone can"t figure out the password after 10 tries, all the data on your phone will be erased.

Do you dislike when you surf with your iPad and can"t tell what will happen with a hyperlink? You can easily solve this. Just hold your finger on the word instead of the usual hovering that you can do on your laptop or desktop. This will reveal the URL of the linked word.

You can synch the pages of your iPad with iTunes and easily share your iPad documents with a Mac or PC. This can be done quick and efficiently to save time. Functions like emailing and downloading PDFs have become very easy.

Turn down the brightness for extended battery life. This can really help if you"re expecting important messages while traveling. In order to reduce the screen brightness, tap your Home icon twice and search for a sun icon.

TIP! You are able to send messages more easily when you use shortcuts. Try pushing the space bar two times when you are writing something.

Do you find reading e-books on the iPad hurts your eyes? This can be fixed by lowering the screen"s brightness as you read. You can change the level of brightness in Settings, or you can simply do it within the iBooks application with the slider.

The calendar function does not allow you to navigate from one day to the next by swiping. You will need to employ the navigation bar to get this done. The day is in blue, and you can notice it easily.

Tap the Home button twice to view your currently running apps. Then you"ll just select your app and click, and there you have it. To go back to the previous app, do it again.

TIP! If you want to keep all your webpages open, use new tabs to do it. While surfing using Safari, simply tap the link and hold it until a pop-up menu appears.

Did you know you can connect your TV to your iPad? There is an adapter you can use to do this with newer TVs. You want either Apple"s VGA adapter or a digital AV adapter. Either works perfectly.

Is your screen becoming marred? Although the iPad is resistant, scratches indicate that you need a screen protector. This will help protect your iPad from serious damage in case you drop it, and it also prevents your fingers from making tiny cuts.

Always back up your iPad to your computer in case you lose it or it gets stolen. Also, there is a way to get the iPad to wipe itself clean if it detects a break in attempt. Beneath the "password lock" selection exists the setting which allows the device to erase all data in the event of 10 incorrect password attempts.

TIP! Do you just hate knowing how much charge remains in your iPad battery? It"s simple to turn it off. Start by going to Settings.

Even if you only use your iPad as a toy, you can get more out of it with these tips. This article is only a tiny portion of information about your iPad"s usability. Just read all you can, and you"ll pick it up in no time.

How to Protect Your iPad: Tips

After having spend, more or less, $500 on your new iPad, you also should make the additional investment of protecting it appropriately. The selection available is huge, and ranges from simple screen protectors over full body shields to proper iPad cases. The right protection solution not only helps to keep your iPad safe from harm, but can also be considered a fashion statement. But what is the right choice? Read on and I talk you through the different iPad protection solutions available on the market:

http://blip.tv/crizzonet/using-the-ipad-as-an-external-storage-device-6130900

Screen Protector

Perhaps the simplest solution, great if you only need to protect your new iPad against greasy finger prints and the like. The more advanced models will also protect the screen against scratches and more aggressive stains. A screen protector offers close to no protection against falls and bumps. Best for careful users, that want to keep their gadget good looking, but don"t put it habitually in any danger.

Full Body Shield

The next step up, this special film protects your whole tablet computer against stains and scratches without changing the look of it at all. The appliance of it can be a bit tricky, but the protection achieved is well worth the effort.

iPad Cases

The most complete solution, especially if you choose a fully rugged, rubber iPad case. Some of these cases come with a stand, to make reading and using it even easier, others without one, for a more flat storage. Which type of iPad case you choose depends entirely on where you use your iPad mostly. If you take it for example on an archaeological dig like in Pompeii, you might want to chose a more rugged variety, that gives maximum protection to your gadget and the data recorded with it.

Waterproof iPad Cases

You will need one of these, if you use your tablet computer frequently in moist (think rainforest) or wet (think near the swimming-pool) environments. Also practical if you use it to look up recipes whilst cooking, as the steam in a kitchen can do real damage to electronic equipment and fat and grease stains would be difficult to remove from the computer itself.

Summary

What kind of iPad case or protection you need, depends on where you use your handheld computer most. Choosing the right one for your needs, avoids not only damage to your expensive equipment but makes also sure that it lasts for a long time. Saving on the case, after you have spend a considerably sum of money on the gadget itself, would be foolish and short-sighted to say the least.

Ipad: Tips, Tricks And Advice You Can Use

iPads are deceptively simple in their use. All you have to do is start playing around, right? For an upgrade to your experience, take a look at the suggestions in the helpful article below.

If you love to utilize your iPad for media, your battery life can deplete fast. Adjusting screen brightness can help to lengthen your battery life. You"ll probably see that you"re not going to need the brightest setting to see your screen.

TIP! It is not necessary to tap the camera roll to look at your pictures. Try swiping your finger to the right to see your video or picture.

Which apps are running? Some apps can continue to run simultaneously with other things on the iPad. Double-click Home to see what"s currently running. A bar shows up near the bottom of the screen that will list currently active apps. When you are finished looking at it, swipe down to close the bar.

It is always best to read the manual of the products you buy, but the only way to get a manual for your iPad is to download it. The Apple company is fond of minimalism, and they prefer consumers download manuals rather than print a hardcopy one out for every product that they sell.

Send Messages

TIP! People often make mistakes when typing on tablets, which leads to interesting typos in the resulting messages. There is a button that allows you to do speech dictation.

You are able to send messages more effectively this way. For instance, a period and space are added when you tap the space bar two times while typing a sentence. You can save time by doing these things automatically instead of manually, so that you can easily send messages to more of your friends.

Hate having to view your iPad"s battery charge percentage? It can be easily turned off. To start with, go to your Settings menu. Go to your General settings and locate Usage. Here, you will be able to turn off the display of battery percentage.

Does tapping the bookmark menu take too much time? Turn the Bookmarks Bar on instead! In Settings, open Safari and select the option to always show the bookmarks bar. Simply turn it on.

TIP! Are you irritated by the percentage of battery icon on the top right of your screen? It is easy to banish this totally useless information from your iPad"s screen. At the outset, access the Settings Menu.

Your iPad is not an inexpensive mobile device; therefore, you should take proper care of it. Many people buy screen protectors for use with their iPads. Although the screen protectors are made of plastic and are very thin, they can help protect the screen of your iPad. However, it"s important that you clean your iPad"s screen with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Refrain from using any household or window cleaners when cleaning your iPad.

If you"re constantly online, don"t overlook the iPad"s cloud function. This helps to safeguard and store your information on the hard drive. Make sure you save your documents on the cloud, as well as the device.

Everyone has heard of the popular iTunes applications, but not everyone is aware of its vast capabilities. One great feature is iTunes U (the "U" is for university). In this section, there are plenty of podcasts of an educational nature for students and anyone who loves to learn.

TIP! If you do not want Google used as your default search engine you can change that. Access Safari and then Search Engine from the Settings menu.

As you can see, the more you know about the iPad, the more fully you will be able to utilize it in your life. Implement what you"ve just learned for a great iPad experience. Understanding how to do things the right way can help your iPad be everything you want it to be.

If you find that your iPad is freezing, soft reset it to make the device reboot. This is accomplished by holding both the power and home buttons at the same time for around 10 seconds. Wait for your iPad to reboot. Hold the home button down for several seconds to force-close an app.

If you"re worried about people trying to access your data, you can fix your iPad to erase your data if there are a certain number of failed attempts. This will erase everything on your phone if someone has not figured out the code after 10 tries.

Screenshots are not hard to take on your iPad. You just have to hit the sleep and home buttons together. This will take the shot you want and place it with all of your other photos.

So now you want to set it up and to make sure you don"t break the new piece of technology you decide to check the instructions.

The problem?

There are none!

You are probably here right now because there are no instructions in your iPad 2 box and you are looking for advice. Well first off don"t panic - you are not missing anything. Apple"s policy is that the iPad is so simple to use you do not need a manual for it.

This IS true to an extent but when you want to start using email, downloading apps or want to use the iPad for productivity this can be a problem as you might not know where to start. Another thing that will happen if you have bought the iPad recently is that during set up it will ask you to update to iOS6.

This is a fancy term for updated software and you will want to make sure you get the download as it will enhance the number of features you have with your iPad.

The steps you will have to go through to set up your iPad are:

Pick your language.

Pick your country.

Enter your details.

Set up an email address - take some time with this as it will be part of your Apple ID.

Set up a password to be able to use iTunes and the App store etc...

Along the way it will also ask you to fill in some security questions.

It is quite straight forward but if you have not used an iPad before maybe get someone to walk you through it.

Just remember that EVERYTHING on the iPad is controlled by touch so you simply need to touch the screen or slide the screen to pick options.

A good way to build experience with the iPad is to focus on one area at a time. Obviously the first thing you will want to do is connect to the Internet or set up your email but after that Safari which is the web browser of the iPad is a good place to start.

Once you get comfortable browsing the web you can move on to downloading apps, reading books on your iPad and listening to music and watching movies.

There are thousands of things you can do with your iPad and it is not that tricky it just takes some practice.

Good Luck and most of all remember to have fun!
