You"ll find lots of great features on iPad. That"s what makes them so desirable. Their breakthrough technology requires a bit of teaching before you"re prepared to handle this device on your own. In this article, we"ll share some excellent iPad tips and tricks to enhance your experience. Keep reading and find out more.

The iPad"s iOS supports folders now. To create a folder, move an app and put it on top one. Your iPad will then create a folder with both apps. The folder will show the name representing the category associated with those apps. You can rename the folder, too.

Try a soft reset if your iPad is frozen. Just hold the power and home button at the same time and for a few seconds to do this. This will prompt your device to restart. If you simply want to force close one app, hold only the home button.

It isn"t necessary to click the camera in the bottom to see the picture. All you have to do is swipe the screen right and your video or picture will appear. To view previous photos you have taken, just keep swiping to the left.

The email app will show you the first two lines of an email"s text unless you change this setting. You might want to see more than that. To do this, go to Settings>Mail. From Mail, choose Contacts, then go to Calendar where you can change the options to preview mail.

Taking screenshots on an iPad is a cinch. Just hold the home and sleep button simultaneously. The screenshot will be taken, and you can look at it from the photo area of your iPad.

Do you dislike surfing the web on the iPad and aren"t sure where a word that"s hyperlinked will take you? Here"s an easy tip to solve this problem. You can"t hover, but you can tap and hold the link. You do not need to be afraid of hyperlinked text on your iPad.

Your iPad has a copy and paste feature. Tap the text and hold down on it if you wish to copy it. A menu will pop up allowing you to select that sentence. The text you want to copy will be highlighted in yellow, but you can change your selection. Choose copy once you are done. Tap again, hold and choose paste and your copied text will appear.

Now you know why iPads are so popular. It requires a bit of practice to fully use an iPad. By using what you"ve learned here, you can start your path to iPad genius status. Best wishes!
