Server Address

When you get your iPad it is set to only show the first two lines of any given message in the preview mode. If you would rather see more before you open it, there is an option. To do this, go to Settings>Mail. Under Mail select Contacts, then Calender to change the Preview mail options for more lines.


Access your Google calendar easily by adding it to your contacts on the mail tab. You will see an option that lets you Add An Account. Tap the Other option that comes up. Hit your "Add CalDAV" icon and add in the relevant Google information. Once done, click the calendar app. Everything you need should be right there!

You can change your search engine from the default Google to another you prefer. Go to the Settings menu, choose Safari and then choose Search Engine. You have the choice of switching the search engine to something more user-friendly if you would like.


The iPad can be instantly muted. In its first incarnation, the iPad lacked a specific mute button. Now, you can mute the sound easily with very simple steps. Now, in order to quickly mute your iPad, simply press the volume-down button and hold it there.
